- An alleged criminal offense occurs
- A warrant is issued & served
- An arrest is made
- An appearance hearing before a Magistrate Judge
- If bond can be granted by Magistrate Judge, bond and conditions are set; If not-
- There must be a bond order negotiated with the prosecution or a hearing before a Superior Court Judge
- District Attorney's office receives the warrant
- Investigation is conducted
- Grand Jury convenes
- Arraignment is conducted
- Trial is held or a plea is negotiated
- Sentencing is issued
State Court:
- An alleged criminal offense occurs
- A warrant is issued & served
- An arrest is made
- Bond/Bail is set
- Solicitor's Office receives warrant
- Investigation is conducted
- Accusation is filed
- Arraignment is ordered
- Trial is held or a plea is negotiated
- Sentencing is issued
